The movement and materials of rhythmic gymnastics consist of a variety of elements of gymnastics, dance, and ballet. This complex movement is made all the more colourful with the use of apparatus.

There are two things that are very important when training for ballet: preparing the body’s muscles and joints to learn the movements required for ballet, and to use apparatus (jump rope) to develop coordination skills. The training process is careful to take into account sensitive periods and the training theory rules pertaining to various age groups. Gymnastics increases the effectiveness of learning the movements of classical ballet just as classical ballet helps RG students in their training.
